Supporting Children with Compassion, Experience, and Play

Play Therapy in Schools
With my background as a teacher and SENCo, I have a deep understanding of how schools operate and the challenges they face. I work closely with schools to provide the best possible support for pupils, collaborating effectively with a wide range of agencies.

I work directly with schools to provide play therapy sessions for children who may be struggling with emotional, behavioural, or social difficulties.

This service includes:
-
Weekly one-to-one play therapy sessions on-site
-
Liaison with SENCOs, pastoral staff, and class teachers
-
Regular progress reviews and outcome monitoring
-
Support for school staff around children’s emotional needs

Benefits for schools:
-
Early intervention to support mental health
-
Improved behaviour, focus, and emotional regulation
-
Stronger relationships with peers and staff
Alongside play therapy, I also offer training for school staff in areas such as trauma, SEND, and PSHE, helping to build knowledge, confidence, and practical skills.
